What are the eligibility requirements?

To be eligible, you must have:

  • A Con Edison residential electric account.
  • Wi-Fi network.
  • An approved Honeywell Home Wi-Fi thermostat that controls the home’s heating and cooling systems

What can I expect?

Here’s what you can expect when you successfully join this program:

  • A confirmation email and a rebate check from Con Edison within six to eight weeks.
  • A maximum of up to 15 events each summer, unless there is a power emergency.
  • Each event will take place sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. on weekdays.
  • You will always have control of your thermostat and can change the settings at any time.

When will I receive my incentive?

You’ll receive a confirmation email from Con Edison and receive your incentive within 6 to 8 weeks. Incentives are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is Connected Savings?

Connected Savings combines proprietary weather data with Wi-Fi thermostat data to automatically deliver comfort and savings during times of high energy demand. We build an energy model of your home to understand how it reacts to various weather conditions. Using this model, we will make brief, limited adjustments to your central air-conditioner setting during the summer to reduce demand on the electric grid while keeping you comfortable. You are always in control and can override the settings at any time.

How do I un-enroll or opt-out of this program?

To un-enroll or opt-out of Connected Savings, please send your request via to energysupport@resideo.com

This process can take up to 5 business days. You will need to include your Total Connect Comfort (TCC) or Lyric username. In addition, any feedback you can provide to help improve Connected Savings will be valued.
