PROGRAM EXPERIENCE

By participating in Connected Savings, your smart thermostat can be gradually auto-adjusted at peak demand times. You’ll always be notified when it happens, and we’ll make sure your home stays comfortable throughout. And with the power to opt out and change the temperature at any time, you’ll stay comfortably in control.

An energy event can happen at any time and will last anywhere from 10 minutes to 4 hours at a maximum of 60 hours per year. In the very unlikely case of a major grid emergency, an event could be called that lasts up to half of a day. In all scenarios, you have the final control of your thermostat and can override the event adjustments when you no longer want to contribute.

CONNECTED SAVINGS INCENTIVES

Enrollment Incentive
Once approved in the program participants receive a $15 gift card.

Annual Incentive
An additional $10 will be given for each full year enrolled in the program.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

To qualify, you must:

Have central air conditioning or a heat pump.
Be a residential electric customer in one of the following utility territories: Atlantic City Electric, ComEd, Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power, PECO, PPL, PSEG-NJ, West Penn Power.
Have a Sensi smart thermostat with a Wi-Fi connection.
By participating in this program, you are signifying your agreement to the Connected Savings^® program.
